Ekaterinburg to Moscow

 

A Christmas/ New Year trip that includes three different Russian cities in just over a week. For those who have always wanted to experience Russia at its most Russian this is the trip for you, starting in the heart of  the Urals and ending in the capital with historic St. Petersburg sandwiched in the middle - a great end of year adventure.

24th December 2012 – Arrival in Ekaterinburg

We transfer you directly to your hotel. You will have the chance to have breakfast and relax before this afternoons city tour around the well known and less obvious attractions of Ekaterinburg, with a local expert guide.

25th December 2012 – Ekaterinburg

Merry Christmas! Today you have full programme of Christmas and Winter activities. You will be away the entire day for around eight hours including travelling time each way, so make sure you have indoor and outdoor layers so you can enjoy all aspects of this exciting day.

26th December 2012 – Depart Ekaterinburg

A full day for you to explore the city at your own pace. Early evening transfer to the station where you will board the St. Petersburg bound train.

27th December 2012 – On board The Trans-Sib

On board The Trans-Sib… travelling towards St. Petersburg.

28th December 2011 – Arrival St. Petersburg

We transfer you directly to your hotel. Today one of our St. Petersburg local expert guides will meet you at your hotel in the lobby. There's a three hour walking tour this morning. The rest of the day is your own.

29th December 2012 – St. Petersburg

Free time for you to explore the city at your own pace.

30th December 2012 – Depart St. Petersburg

A full day for you to pack in the best of the rest. Own transfer this evening to Moskovsky Station where you will board the Moscow bound train.

31st December 2012 – Arrival in Moscow

Early morning arrival in Moscow. Transfer to hotel. Today there’s a three hour walking tour, to introduce the city (and its public transport system) and to get your sightseeing off to a flying start. The rest of the day’s your own. New Years Eve in Moscow is a big celebration and you need to get to Red Square and secure your vantage point early(ish) because at midnight Mr.Medvedev will wish you all Happy New Year from vast screens put along the Kremlin Walls after which will be the traditional firework display. The Moscow metro operates untill 4.00am so you can easily get home after the celebrations

1st January 2013 – Arrival in Moscow

Happy New Year! Check-out of your room by 12 noon, or book additional night accomodation to extend your stay.
